Passionate About Inspiring Others
This is the space on the website where I am supposed to list my professional credentials and talk about my areas of specialized training, which I will do eventually because that is important information. However, in my opinion, it's even more critical that you know me and my understanding of what it means to be a healer and a guide. What follows is a brief professional manifesto...
["Manifesto: a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer." (Merriam Webster)]
The words of Dr. Michael Mangis, my Graduate School mentor still resonate strongly with me twenty-four years later: "The relationship IS the therapy." In other words, the quality of the relationship that I form with my clients is THE most important thing. Brilliant training and fancy techniques will do very little good unless I form a safe, caring, and authentic relationship with the precious souls that come my way.
Additionally, the PERSON of the therapist is critical to the success of the therapeutic/yogic process. To this end, I am committed to a growth-oriented, transformational way of life. I strive to walk through my own deep waters and climb the mountains of my life so that I can guide others from a place of experience and integrity.
And finally, I believe it is my calling to not only SUPPORT the people who come my way but also to INSPIRE them to live their fullest, truest, best life possible!
